Bill Massa

Bill has 25 years of experience as a leader in a wide range of industrial and technology markets.  He began his career as an Officer in the US Navy and later held positions in finance, sales, and management at General Chemical and Cambrex. 

 Bill was recruited in 2002 by Celanese to build their specialty chemical business and later he led the company’s M&A group.  Bill joined Clean Earth, one of the largest recyclers of contaminated soil, as CEO in 2006.  In 2009, he was recruited to turn around Synagro, the largest recycler of organic by-products in the United States.  His work at Synagro was featured on Undercover Boss.

 In 2012, Bill met Tim Long and helped arrange Panhandle’s acquisition by Argosy Private Equity.  Bill stayed on as Executive Chairman guiding Panhandle’s growth and its subsequent acquisition of Eagle Automation.  In order to help Panhandle and Eagle navigate very difficult market conditions, Bill was named CEO in 2016.

 Bill has a Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering from Cornell, the equivalent of Masters of Science in Nuclear Engineering through his Nuclear Submarine training, and a Masters of Business Administration from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.  He is active in a number of volunteer roles including serving as a pilot for Angel Flight.

Alan Morgan

As Vice President of Automation, Alan Morgan oversees both the business development and daily operations of the Automation, Measurement, and Electrical service lines across all Eagle and Panhandle locations.

Alan founded Eagle Automation in 1996 in Corpus Christi, Texas.  He steadily grew Eagle opening offices across Texas in Jewett, McAllen, and San Angelo.  Alan sold Eagle to Panhandle in March 2015.

Prior to that, Alan worked for Conoco for 17 years in various Automation and Electrical positions both onshore and offshore in Louisiana, South Texas, and on international deepwater projects.  He began his oilfield career as a Cased Hole Engineer with Welex (Halliburton Logging).

Alan received his Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Technology from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and his Associate’s from McNeese State University.

Tim Long

As Founder of Panhandle Oilfield Service Companies, Tim Long has been with the business since its inception in Liberal, KS.

The Panhandle Story starts in 1981, when Tim went to work for Inspection Support Services Corporation which specialized in used drill pipe inspection. Seeing more potential for the business, Tim and a partner purchased ISS in 1983. By 1992, Tim had added used drill pipe sales to the business and acquired complete ownership of the company rebranding it as Panhandle Oilfield Service Companies.

Through Tim’s leadership and dedication to partnering with his customers, Panhandle steadily grew into 9 locations throughout the Northeast, Midcontinent, and Rockies. Tim also expanded the company’s offerings to include roustabout/construction services, drill pipe trucking, equipment sales, and safety services.

In addition to leading Panhandle for over 30 years, Tim also served as mayor of Liberal from 2010 to 2013. In 2013, Tim moved Panhandle’s corporate office from Liberal to Oklahoma City, OK.

Currently, Tim leads the company’s Artificial Lift sales and services business.

Tony Turk

Tony Turk

Tony Turk joined Panhandle Oilfield Service Companies in July 2013 as its Vice President of Human Resources.  Tony has over 15 years of Human Resources experience in the oilfield services industry.

Before joining Panhandle, Tony worked at Maxum Petroleum as the Regional Director of Human Resources for the Midcontinent.  Prior to that, he spent 12 years at Schlumberger in a variety of HR management roles including Human Resources Manager – US Land Central and HRIS Support Manager – North & South America.

Tony received a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and a Master of Arts in Labor & Industrial Relations both from the University of Illinois.
